SEO Tools to Watch the PR Update

Posted by: Jason Drohn In: technology

Over at Tech-buzz.net, Thilak wrote that he thought a PR update was going on.  I didn’t think it would happen for another month or so, but here it is.

The servers are slowly starting to crawl sites and update the PRs.  I have also noticed in my toolbar and with SEO Quake, the PR seems to be shut off.  A lot of the sites that I was seeing a ranking for are not showing up.

Anyway, here are the links to check your own sites.  Let me know what you find!

According to Seo Chat, I’m getting hit with a PR5. How accurate do you think that is for a three-month old blog?

Thanks for the heads up, anyway :)

I think it is pretty accurate actually. You do a lot of things right (seo wise) and get quite a bit of traffic on your site! I don’t think a PR of 5 would be unreasonable. Congratulations once it actually happens!

Thanks Jason :) Though I think we can thank Wordpress for the good SEO more than anything, right? :P

Is there any special techniques that can be used to optimize a wordpress blog on my server for SEO. One issue I see is no way to change the title tags on each page, where it seems to take the blog name for the home page.
I have several hundred 600+ inbound links.
I have pinged Technorati manually and used pingoat as well as pingomatic every time I add a new blog.
There is plenty of content, about 30 articles.
What else can I do? What else should I do to optimize my blog?
