Wordie.org… What a nerdy, fun idea… I love it!

Wordie lets you make lists of words — practical lists, words you love, words you hate, whatever. You can add citations and comments, see who else has listed the same words, and talk about language.
Wordie hacking is heartily encouraged; let me know if I can do anything to facilitate a project. Suggestions and bug reports appreciated.
This kind of personalization is what is driving the web today. Even a website has style and can convey a personal quality through the words that it uses!
Another example is the Feedburner page after you just open a new feed.. Something like, “Your feed is so new we are still playing with the bubble wrap!” You almost want to call them on the phone because they are just plain fun!
And we wonder why certain companies get invested in while others are left wondering when their time will come. It comes down to what kind of a personality your site has and what value you convey.
