This year offers some tremendous opportunities in the technology world.  But you don’t need me to tell you that!  There are a million other sites throwing out that same information.

I came across a good article on SEO Black Hat this morning titled, “2007 Key to Success: You are the CEO.”  There are a lot of good points about spending your time wisely online amidst all of the internet time wasters.  But the part of the article I picked out is this:

Finally, this year you will make a greater effort to surround yourself with winners. You will develop a network of like-minded individuals around you that know how to make money on the Web. You will have less time for people who waste your time and will make a greater effort to network with people who “get it.” Unlike in years past, this year you will actually make the effort to stay in contact with, do business with, and associate yourself with winners.

How true…  It is imperative to find a tight network of professionals who understand what you do and what you offer.  It doesn’t matter what their background is.  In fact, the more diverse a group is, the better ideas you will be able to generate.

What I am saying is this:  We are on a new playing field.  Embrace that and realize that you are among less than 1% of the population who actually see where the Internet is heading.  Find like minded people, and focus on a topic. 

Let 2007 be more fun and profitable than ever!
