C Cue Presentation – Ad Hoc Emergency Response System

My friend, Eric Squatrito, did this presentation at C-Cue on Friday (scroll down a bit to check it out).

The application he demonstrated is built in visual basic .net’s mobile edition. Basically, it is advanced call management software.

An operator gets a call and enters the details into the program; time, place, date, description and so on.

Then, the system automatically notifies the mobile devices connected to it. The driver can accept the call, request more information, etc. Then it automatically relays back to the operator.

The software was designed to be implemented into emergency response software, but the application has some serious potential. Companies like AAA could use it to monitor their call reports or schools could use it to push out homework assignments. It is some really interesting stuff!

Kudos to Eric for getting it up and running. He had a great presentation as well!
