We all know Google’s algorithm is in need of an update. Page Rank is great; but with the hordes of SEO ‘experts’ out there, the results are being skewed a bit.
There seems to be a new Google indexing system on the horizon, which should be released in early spring. The podcast at the bottom of this entry sums up a lot of the points regarding the new Google algorithm and adds some other things which I have heard through the grapevine.
There are far too many people running around yelling about inbound links and keyword rich content. So, Google intends to one-up them by implementing a voting system.
For instance, if you have a site with a page rank of 3 linking to you, and it gets clicked 50 times; it will be worth more than a site with a PR of 7 that gets clicked 3 times.
