We all know Google’s algorithm is in need of an update. Page Rank is great; but with the hordes of SEO ‘experts’ out there, the results are being skewed a bit.
There seems to be a new Google indexing system on the horizon, which should be released in early spring. The podcast at the bottom of this entry sums up a lot of the points regarding the new Google algorithm and adds some other things which I have heard through the grapevine.
There are far too many people running around yelling about inbound links and keyword rich content. So, Google intends to one-up them by implementing a voting system.
For instance, if you have a site with a page rank of 3 linking to you, and it gets clicked 50 times; it will be worth more than a site with a PR of 7 that gets clicked 3 times.
SeoChat has a great article about the changes going on at Google. It is a long read, but worthwhile, nonetheless.
Let me know what you think, or how it will affect your site!

Jason,
Amazing job on the podcast. I listened to it this morning… Man, you got to keep posts like this one coming… there are so many people out there that like to read what you write but don’t have time to… so in this case for me.. I was able to listen to your podcast while doing what I needed to do.
There are some things people can do in life… But its real hard to read blogs and work… but it is easy to listen to podcasts and work… so awesome job, excellent quality, and wonderful recording… keep em’ coming!
