In The Erie Times-News Today

by Jason Drohn

Last week, I did an interview for the the Erie Times (the article is behind a free-subscription wall), my town’s local newspaper. They wanted to do a story on the business plan competition that I won a couple weeks ago.

I was really impressed by the quality of the article itself. Not to mention that it is almost the entire front page of the business section. I am going to post the pic that was in the paper. If you look to the right monitor, you will see JDsBlog displayed! Can’t beat free advertising!!

I answered a lot of questions about how I started into computers and business and how I was a ‘late bloomer’ – opting not to go to college right away. It dealt with my business Tech Solution and this blog of course.

All in all, I am very impressed. The article and event coverage was great. And I appreciate the opportunity to take part.

I am the type of person who likes to be in his own little hole, but that is very quickly changing :0)

Wow, very nice article!

Oh, and *drools on dual monitors*

LOL.. Thanks Kyle. That was my present to myself last summer :0)

I love them. In fact, one of them broke and I was absolutely beside myself without it. Believe me, you get used to dual monitors, you can’t go back. Especially when you are developing stuff!!

I use dual monitors at work, but at home I’m on my laptop 99.75% of the time. I understand what you’re saying, as its hard to go home and look at a single screen.

I would like to get a nice setup at home someday once I get some disposable income. :)

My number one priority with the prize winnings is building myself a new rig! I can’t wait. That is when you know you are in too deep – you can shop on newegg.com for hours!
