Where to Purchase Your Company’s Logo’d Shirts

Posted by: Jason Drohn In: young entrepreneur

I have to admit.. putting a work shirt on that has the logo of a company you started is amazing. Not too much in life gives you that feeling..

One of the hardest parts of starting a new business is the stuff that most of us take for granted. Where are you going to get office supplies? What computers are you going to use? How should they be transferred so they can be used for the business.. And on and on.

But what about work shirts or sweaters? You need to get your company out there and your logo recognizable, why not do it through your clothing. Hell, you can write your whole wardrobe off as a business expense!

Here’s the issue I had when I started. I didn’t have a lot of money for work gear, and I had a whole closet full of polos and dress shirts. So I just wore those. And if I needed a new shirt, I just ran to Kohl’s or Old Navy and found something I liked. But they don’t have any logos on them!

So, I started looking for companies that would embroider or silk screen the logo on to a nice shirt, and quickly discovered that the quality wasn’t there. So, before totally giving up, I tried a company by the name of Queesnboro. And let me tell you.. I am impressed.

I just unpacked the UPS box, tried on the shirts, and decided that this was by far the best purchase I had ever made. I got two embroidered short sleeve dress shirts (like work shirts) and two polos with my company’s logo on them, for a little over $54..

The logos are a good size. The placement is perfect. And the shirts are a great quality. What’s not to like?

I am already trying to decide if I want a hoodie or a nice jacket for the coming winter through Queensboro. Hell, maybe I will get both. After all, it is tax deductible..

Congrats on being able to slide on a shirt with your company logo on it! CafePress.com is also a real good site for customized clothing and other paraphernalia if your interested. However, I don’t believe they do embroidery. Good Luck!

Hi Erica! You are right. They have a great interface for designing the shirts, and they are very quick to ship. I have bought a couple items from them in the past.

The only thing I don’t like is that eventually the silkscreening fades on their shirts. And sometimes to get a nice shirt, it is more expensive than an embroidered one.

I do use CafePress a lot for coffee mugs and mouse pads with my company on them, which are nice to give away to some of the good clients!
